Homey integrates with Alexa, so you can control your devices and run Flows by voice. This article explains how to set up the Homey Skill for Alexa.
Initial setup
- Make sure your Amazon Alexa device is set up and connected to a Wi-Fi network.
- Once your Alexa device is set up, open the Alexa app on your smartphone.
- Go to Skills & Games in the menu.
- Search for Homey, then tap Enable Skill.
- Log in with your Homey account to give Alexa access to Homey.
- Alexa will ask if you want to discover your existing devices. Press Discover Devices to continue.
From now on, you can invoke basic commands such as “Alexa, turn everything off” or “Alexa, dim the Kitchen Light to 50%.”
