With the Whisker app, you can connect your Litter-Robot 4 to Homey. Control it directly or automate it with Flows.
1. Open the Homey app
Tap Devices in the bottom tab bar.
2. Add a new device
Tap → New Device in the upper-right corner.
3. Find Whisker
Search for Whisker and tap Whisker.
4. Choose your device
Tap Litter-Robot 4.
5. Connect the device
Tap Connect and follow the on-screen steps.
6. Sign in to Whisker
Enter your Whisker email address and password.
7. Complete the setup
Tap Continue when your device is found, then complete the setup.
LitterHopper® Support
If you own a Litter-Robot 4 with a LitterHopper®, it will be automatically supported in the Whisker app for Homey. During pairing, the app detects whether a LitterHopper is installed and displays the relevant controls in the device view.
Adding the LitterHopper later? No problem. The app should detect it automatically and enable the functionality. If it doesn’t, you can manually activate it in the device settings:
- Select your Litter-Robot 4 from the device overview.
- Tap Settings, then go to Advanced Settings.
- Scroll down to LitterHopper Functionality.
You’ll see three options:
- Detect Automatically (default): Homey will automatically detect the LitterHopper.
- Disabled: Hides all LitterHopper features.
- Enabled: Shows all LitterHopper features.
