Homey works with Reolink cameras, doorbells, Home Hubs, and NVRs. Before adding a device, you need to enable a few network settings in the Reolink mobile app.
Before you start
Open the Reolink mobile app, select your device, and go to Advanced Network Settings → Server Settings. Make sure HTTPS, RTSP, and ONVIF are enabled.
If these are off, Homey can't find your device on the network. The Homey app will also show these steps as a reminder during setup.
Adding a device
1. Open the Homey app
Tap Devices in the bottom tab bar.
2. Add a new device
Tap → New Device in the upper-right corner.
3. Find Reolink
Search for Reolink and tap its name.
4. Choose your device
Select the device type (Camera, Doorbell, Home Hub, or NVR).
Cameras connected to a Hub or NVR
If your cameras are connected to a Reolink Home Hub or NVR, select that type first. Once the Hub or NVR is added, you can add the cameras attached to it.
Then, tap Connect.
5. Enter your credentials
- The username is usually admin.
- The password is the one you chose when setting up the device.
- The subnet is filled in automatically based on your Homey.
- Only change this if your network uses a different setup, such as VLANs.
Tap Search for Device Type. Homey will scan your network.
6. Finish the setup
Select your device from the list. You can set a name, icon, and zone before finishing.
