The Homey devices work best if they're never powered off. This way, they can stay in touch with all your appliances and control interfaces without interruptions. However, there might be times when Homey really needs to power off, for instance, when you want to move it to a different location.
Unplugging the device
Step 1
To power off, you can simply unplug your Homey from the wall socket.
Step 2
Plug it back in to turn it on again. Wait a moment for Homey to reconnect to your devices.
Turning off the LED Ring
When Homey's LED Ring is too visible to your liking, you can change the idle mode instead of turning Homey completely off.
