Homey is an open platform, meaning that anyone can develop an app for it, just like with a smartphone. This helps us support devices from diverse manufacturers, but apps can also be used to do other things, like access information or link to internet services.
Homey App Store
All Homey apps are collected in the Homey App Store. You can browse through them, filter by type or category, or start searching here.
Installing an app
- Go to the mobile app and tap on
More→Appsto get an overview of all current apps installed on your Homey, or to add a new app to it. - Tap the
+symbol in the top right corner → search for the app you want to install. - Once you have found the right app, tap
Install.
Managing and deleting apps
- Go back to the Apps overview and tap on the app you want to delete or restart.
- Tap on
Settingsin the top right corner to open the settings page of this specific app. - On the settings page, you can disable, restart, uninstall the app or send some diagnostics to the app developer.
Warning: Removing an app will impact any Flow cards associated with this app.
