Homey is an open platform, meaning anyone can develop an app for it, just like for smartphones. This helps us support devices from diverse manufacturers, but apps can also do other things, like access information or link to internet services.
Homey App Store
The Homey App Store houses all the apps designed for Homey. You can browse them, filter by type or category, or search.
Installing an app
Step 1
Go to the mobile app and tap on More (…) → Apps to get an overview of all current apps installed on your Homey or add a new one.
Step 2
Tap the + symbol in the upper-right corner and search for the app you want to install.
Step 3
Once you have found the right app, tap Install.
Managing and deleting apps
Step 1
Return to the Apps overview and tap on the app you want to delete or restart.
Step 2
Tap on Settings in the top right corner to open the settings page of this specific app.
Step 3
On the settings page, you can disable, restart, or uninstall the app or send diagnostics to the app developer.
Before you remove an app
Removing an app will impact any Flow cards associated with this app.
