Homey offers the possibility to add multiple users to one Homey. It also allows you to manage and control who has access. In some rare cases, you want to transfer the ownership from one user to another. This functionality is limited to Homey Pro, transferring ownership on the new, cloud based Homey is not possible.
Transferring ownership of a Homey Pro to another Family member
- Go to
More (…)→Family and guests. - As an owner, tap on the user which you want to transfer the ownership to.
- Select
Transfer ownership. - Confirm the pop-up if you are certain you want to transfer ownership.
Note: Only the owner of a Homey Pro can transfer the ownership.
Warning: This proces can only be reverted by the new owner of the Homey Pro! Make sure you select the correct user before confirming the transfer.
