Connecting your first device to Homey

Homey can control many devices from many brands at the same time, and the setup of new devices is straightforward. In case you need help, we're here to guide you through the process of adding a new device to Homey.

Pairing instructions

1. Open the Homey app and select Devices in the tab bar below.
2. Tap the + symbol in the top right corner and choose New Device.
3. Search the brand name of your device and select the corresponding app.
4. When you've found the device you'd like to add, tap its icon → confirm if you want to continue → tap Connect.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Every device requires a different method of adding it to Homey. Follow the on-screen instructions and you'll be set in no time!
