Once you’ve linked Google Home with Homey, all your Homey-connected devices should be automatically discovered in the Google Home app.
- Lights will appear under the Lights section in the top menu.
- All other devices will be listed on the main screen, organized by your Homey Zones.
Discovering new devices
After you add a new device to Homey, Google Home should automatically discover it, provided synchronization is enabled.
If synchronization isn’t enabled, new devices may not appear in the Google Home app. To sync manually, just say: “Hey Google, sync devices.”
Supported devices
Google Home has limited support for specific devices. Only the following devices currently work with Homey and Google Assistant.
- Sockets
- Switches
- Lights
- Thermostats
- Blinds and Curtains
- Door Locks
- Garage Doors
- TVs
- Speakers
- Other devices with On/Off functionality
