When you’re new to Homey
1. Plug in the power adapter
To install Homey Pro for the first time, connect the USB-C cable to the power adapter and Homey Pro. Then, plug in the power adapter.
Homey Pro’s LED Ring will start circling white while it’s starting up. It will breathe blue after one or two minutes, indicating that Homey Pro is ready for setup.
No blue LED Ring after two minutes?
Please reset your Homey Pro to factory defaults first.
2. Get the Homey app
Download the Homey app from https://get.homey.app to begin setup on your phone or tablet.
Check app permissions
When setting up Homey Pro, please ensure that Bluetooth is enabled and that the Homey app has permission to detect nearby devices.
3. Create your account
Open the app, tap Create Account, and follow the prompts to create your Homey account.
4. Set up Homey Pro
Once your account is ready, tap Set Up Homey → Homey Pro and complete the setup.
When you’re an existing Homey user
After plugging in your Homey Pro, tap Home → Your Avatar → My Homeys → Add new Homey → Homey Pro and follow the setup instructions.
