Resetting Homey Pro to factory defaults does not remove it from your Homey account. That means even after a reset, you’ll still see the device listed in the Homey app.
If you want to fully remove a Homey Pro from your account — for example, before selling or giving it away — follow the steps below.
- Unplug your Homey Pro so it’s no longer reachable.
- Open the Homey app on your smartphone.
- Tap your avatar icon (top right) and select My Homeys.
- Select the Homey Pro you want to remove. You’ll see a message saying the device can’t be reached — that’s expected.
- Tap your avatar icon again and choose Manage Homey.
- Select Remove Homey to delete it from your account.
