868 MHz range
868 MHz signals tend to cover the house but are often one-way, leading to lower reliability. Devices to which Homey sends commands, such as smart plugs, bulbs, or roller blinds, typically have a good range and can often cover a small home.
We recommend using sensors, buttons, and remotes that send their commands to Homey, preferably in the same room Homey is in, as their range is typically limited.
