How to use Matter
Matter devices can be added through the Homey Web App or Homey Mobile App on Homey Pro (Early 2023). For Homey Pro mini, use the Homey Mobile App to set up your devices.
The Homey Web App will connect Matter-over-Thread devices to Homey Pro’s Thread network. Matter-over-Wi-Fi devices will connect to the same Wi-Fi network as Homey Pro.
If Homey Pro is not connected to Wi-Fi and only uses an Ethernet connection, it is necessary to select a Wi-Fi network when manually connecting the Matter device.

If you’re using Homey Pro mini, this screen won’t appear. Pairing is always done via your iOS or Android device.
If everything goes successfully, the Matter device will be added to Homey Pro. If not, please refer to this article for more information.
