Homey Pro Backups automatically create a backup of your Homey every night. You can also create one manually.
If something goes wrong or you’re setting up a new Homey Pro, you can restore a backup to return to a previous state, including your settings, Flows, and Energy and Insights data.
Restoring a backup
- Reset your Homey Pro to factory settings.
- Start the setup process.
- During setup, you’ll be asked whether you want to restore a backup. Select the backup you want to restore and follow the steps to confirm.
- After restoring, sign back in to any third-party services you previously connected to, such as Google Assistant, Alexa, and IFTTT.
Zigbee devices not responding after a restore
Some Zigbee devices may stop responding after a restore.
- In the Homey Mobile App, go to device settings and tap Maintenance → Try to Repair.
- In the Homey Web App, right-click the device tile and select Repair.
