If the LED alternates between Solid Red and Blinking White, connect the provided USB-C cable from the Homey Energy Dongle to a power source to ensure everything stays powered.
| Blinking White — The Homey Energy Dongle is starting up. | |
| Breathing Blue — The Homey Energy Dongle is in Setup Mode and awaiting commands. | |
| Solid Red — The Homey Energy Dongle is not receiving sufficient power from the smart meter to operate reliably. | |
| Breathing Red — The Homey Energy Dongle was set up earlier but is not connected to Wi-Fi or Homey. | |
| Blinking Pink — The Homey Energy Dongle is currently installing an update. | |
| Pulsing White — The Homey Energy Dongle is working as expected. Its LED briefly gets brighter when the device receives data from the smart meter, usually once per second or every ten seconds. | |
| Off — The Homey Energy Dongle has no power connected. | |
