Resetting the Homey Energy Dongle to factory defaults will erase Wi-Fi credentials and smart meter connection settings.
Data from the Energy tab will remain safe
When you reset the Homey Energy Dongle, your data from the Energy tab will remain safe because it’s stored directly on your Homey.
To perform the reset, use a long pin to press and hold the pinhole located next to the Homey Energy Dongle’s USB-C port for 30 seconds.
When held down, the LED breathes red a few times before blinking red. When it blinks red, it is safe to remove the pin. At this point, all data is being deleted.
Shortly after, the LED blinks white, indicating that the Homey Energy Dongle is restarting. Once restarted, the LED breathes blue, signaling that it is ready to be set up again.
