Congratulations! You are the proud owner of a brand-new Homey Pro mini. To set it up for the first time, follow these simple steps.
Check app permissions
When setting up Homey Pro mini, please ensure that Bluetooth is enabled and that the Homey app has permission to detect nearby devices.
When you’re new to Homey
1. Connect & power up
Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into your Homey Pro mini’s Ethernet port and the other end into your router.
Next, connect the USB-C cable to the power adapter and your Homey Pro mini. Finally, plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet.
2. Getting ready for setup
When Homey Pro mini starts up, its LED should blink white. After a minute or two, it will breathe blue, which means it’s ready to be set up.
No breathing blue LED after two minutes?
Please try resetting your Homey Pro mini to factory defaults.
3. Download the Homey app
Download the Homey app for iOS or Android at https://get.homey.app. Sign in or create a new account, then tap Set Up Homey when prompted.
When you’re an existing Homey user
Go to the Home tab in the Homey app, then tap Your Avatar → My Homeys → Add New Homey → Homey Pro mini and follow the setup instructions.
