Congratulations! You are the proud owner of a brand-new Homey Pro (2016 — 2019). To set it up for the first time, follow these simple steps.

When you’re new to Homey
1. Plug in Homey Pro (2016 — 2019)
Plug in Homey Pro (2016 — 2019) using the supplied power adapter. The LED Ring will start rotating white. After a few seconds, it will pulse blue to indicate it’s ready for setup.
2. Get the Homey app
Download the Homey app from https://get.homey.app to begin setup on your phone or tablet.
3. Create your account
Open the app, tap Create Account, and follow the prompts to create your Homey account.
4. Set up Homey Pro (2016 — 2019)
Once your account is ready, tap Set Up Homey → Homey Pro (2016 — 2019) and complete the setup.
When you’re an existing Homey user
1. Plug in Homey Pro (2016 — 2019)
Plug in Homey Pro (2016 — 2019) using the supplied power adapter. The LED Ring will start rotating white. After a few seconds, it will pulse blue to indicate it’s ready for setup.
2. Add new Homey
Go to the Home tab in the Homey app, then tap Your Avatar → My Homeys → Add new Homey → Homey Pro (2016 — 2019). Follow the prompts to complete the setup.
Control your Homey
Once logged in, you’ll see Homey’s home screen. It includes quick actions to control your devices or start favorite Flows, along with a timeline of recent updates.
Use the tab bar at the bottom to explore Homey.
- Devices — View and control your connected devices.
- Flows — Build and manage your Flows.
- Energy — Monitor your home’s live energy usage.
- More (…) — Access additional features, settings, and possibilities.
