By entering your energy contract rates in Homey Energy, you’ll see not just how much energy you use, but how much it costs. Paired with the Top Consumers feature, this makes it easy to spot the most power-hungry devices and reduce your energy bill.
1. Go to the Homey Energy tab
Open the Homey app and tap Energy in the bottom tab bar.
2. Tap Customize
Scroll down on the Homey Energy tab and tap Customize.
3. Choose a category
You can now input costs for electricity, gas, and water. Tap the category for which you want to enter them.
Fixed vs. Dynamic Electricity Prices
For electricity, you can enter fixed or dynamic prices in Homey Energy. Learn more about adjusting your dynamic electricity prices.
4. Enter your costs
Enter your energy provider’s rates and tap Save in the top right corner. Then, add the costs for the other categories to complete your overview.
