You can move Homey Self-Hosted Server from one platform to another, such as from Synology to Proxmox, without losing your data. Here’s how to do it.
1. Find the data folder
Homey Self-Hosted Server stores all data in a single folder. The name and location depend on where it’s running. Check the installation guide for your platform to find it.
2. Create a backup
To keep your settings, devices, and Flows, make a copy of the data folder from your current platform and store it somewhere safe.
3. Restore on the new platform
Install Homey Self-Hosted Server on the new platform. Before starting it, place the backed-up folder in the correct location.
