With Hidden Devices, you can hide devices from your overview without removing them from Homey. You can bring them back at any time, while keeping your Flows and settings in place.
This is useful for devices you don’t need year-round, such as seasonal smart plugs, fan controllers, or decorative lighting.
What happens when you hide a device?
The device disappears from your Devices overview, but stays in Homey. Hidden devices still appear in Activity, Energy, and Batteries, so your Insights stay complete.
How to hide a device
- Open the Devices tab in the Homey Mobile App or Homey Web App.
- Tap ⋯ → Hidden Devices.
- Choose which devices to hide for each Zone, then tap Done.
How to unhide a device
If a Zone has hidden devices, a message at the bottom shows how many are hidden. Tap it to view and restore them.
