The LED Ring is one of the most distinguishable parts of Homey Pro (2016 — 2019). It is beautifully designed and also used to visualize what's going on.
| Rotating White — Homey Pro is processing your voice command. | |
| Rotating Orange — Homey Pro is generally loading or busy. | |
| Rotating Blue — Homey Pro is downloading something from the internet (like a new app). | |
| Rotating Purple — Homey Pro is updating itself. Do not turn off the power. Alternatively, Homey Pro has been powered on upside down. If so, turn it off, position it upright, and turn it on. | |
| Pulsing Orange — Homey Pro is listening to your voice or talking back. | |
| Pulsing Yellow — Homey Pro is ready to be installed, and you can now go to Homey Setup. | |
| Pulsing Red — Homey Pro could not correctly start. Try the Recovery procedure. | |
Idling and Screensaver
By default, Homey Pro shows a rainbow animation when it is idling, because it looks great. You can change the idle mode easily.
Step 1
Tap on Settings → LED Ring.
Step 2
You can set the Homey LED Ring to Rainbow, Pulse, Off, or Idle.
Idle lets a selected app take over the LED Ring in idle mode to ubiquitously show information, like the weather or your stock portfolio performance.
