Sometimes you want to reset Homey and wipe all stored information. The process only takes a few steps.
Before continuing
Make sure Homey is powered on in the upright position for at least 30 seconds before continuing.
1. Enter Recovery Mode
To enter Recovery Mode, turn Homey upside down and wait for the 10-second countdown to complete.
2. Start the setup process
Homey is set to recovery mode and will display the same welcome message as during its initial setup. You can now start the setup process on your mobile device.
3. Reset your device
After connecting to Wi-Fi, Homey checks for updates, and the Options button becomes available. Tap on it to download a complete software update and reset your device.
If you don’t want to link a new or existing Homey account, you can select Reset to Factory Settings. Finally, wait for the setup to complete.
